Return and Refund Policy

Please check our Return and Refund Policy

At Delray Dressage, we strive to offer a safe, fair, and enjoyable riding experience for all riders. Please review our policies regarding unused lessons, weather-related cancellations, and leased horses.

1. Lesson Cancellation & Payment Policy

  • Most lessons are paid after they are completed.

  • Any lesson must be canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice, otherwise the full cost of the lesson must still be paid.

  • Riders may reschedule a lesson with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

  • Lessons not rescheduled within 30 days of the original date will be forfeited.

2. Paid Lessons (Unused or Missed)

  • For the safety of both horses and riders, riding lessons may be canceled or adjusted due to heavy rain, lightning, or unsafe footing.

  • In most cases of bad weather, your trainer will offer a barn lesson instead of a riding lesson. These focus on horsemanship, grooming, tacking, stable management, and other valuable equine skills.

  • If conditions prevent any type of lesson, you will be notified as soon as possible.

  • If the lesson was already paid in advance, it will be rescheduled.

  • If the lesson was not paid in advance, you will not be charged.

  • Weather-related cancellations are rescheduled, not refunded.

  • If you are unsure about weather conditions, please check with us before coming to the barn.

4. Horse Leasing

  • Leasing fees are non-refundable and must be paid in advance.

  • If a leased horse becomes temporarily unavailable (e.g., injury or illness), we will offer:

  1. A replacement horse of similar level and temperament, or
  2. A credit toward future lessons or leasing, depending on the duration of unavailability.

  • Lease cancellations require 30 days written notice. No prorated refunds are offered for early termination.
